Welcome to the Convenient Cash website (the “Site”). This Site is operated by Convenient Cash (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing, browsing, or purchasing from our Site, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Site.

1. Use of the Site

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Site, purchase items online, or engage in any transactions with Convenient Cash. By using this Site, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Site.

2. In-Store Transactions & Preliminary Valuations

Our Site showcases our services, highlights items we buy, and outlines our buyback process.

  • No online binding quotes: any valuations, price estimators, or stock lists shown on this Site are invitations to treat and do not constitute a legally binding offer to buy or sell.
  • Final assessment: all final over-the-counter transactions (buys, sells and buybacks) must be completed in person at a Convenient Cash store. We reserve the right to alter or withdraw any online estimate upon physical inspection of an item. We are under no obligation to accept any item brought into our stores.

3. Online Store Sales & Contract Formation

When you purchase an item directly through our online store:

  • Your order represents an offer to purchase the item. A legally binding contract is only formed when we send you a Dispatch Confirmation email or a notification that the item is ready for in-store collection.
  • We reserve the right to cancel and refund any online order prior to dispatch if the item is no longer available, has been incorrectly priced, or fails our final pre-shipping quality inspection.

4. Product Descriptions and Pre-owned Condition

Because Convenient Cash primarily deals in secondhand, pre-owned items:

  • All goods sold online are carefully tested and described. However, items may show minor cosmetic wear, scratches or signs of previous use, which will be highlighted in the product description or photographs.
  • It is your responsibility to review all images and descriptions before completing your purchase.

5. Online Returns and Your Right to Cancel (UK Distance Selling)

In accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, if you buy an item online, you have the right to cancel your order and request a refund for any reason:

  • The 14-day window: you must notify us of your intent to cancel within 14 days from the day after you receive your item.
  • Returning the item: once you have notified us, you have a further 14 days to safely return the item to us.
  • Condition on return: items must be returned in the exact condition they were received, complete with all original packaging, accessories and security tags intact. We reserve the right to deduct an amount from the refund if the value of the goods has been diminished by excessive handling.
  • Return shipping costs: unless the item is faulty or not as described, you (the buyer) are responsible for paying the return postage costs. We recommend using a tracked, insured shipping service.

6. Faulty Goods & Consumer Rights Act

If an item you purchased online develops a fault:

  • Under the UK Consumer Rights Act, you are entitled to a full refund if the item is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, provided you report the fault within 30 days of delivery.
  • If a fault develops after 30 days (but within 6 months), please contact us, and we will arrange a repair or replacement, or a partial refund if a fix is not possible.

7. The Convenient Cash “Buyback” Service

Our buyback service allows you to sell an item to us in-store with an exclusive option to repurchase it within a specified timeframe, subject to a buyout fee.

  • The full legal terms, fees and deadlines of a buyback are explicitly detailed on your physical in-store receipt/agreement.
  • In the event of any discrepancy between descriptions on this website and your physical in-store buyback agreement, the in-store agreement takes strict legal precedence.
  • Failure to repurchase the item within the agreed-upon timeframe will result in the item being cleared for general secondhand sale to the public.

8. Delivery and Risk

  • We only deliver to verified UK addresses.
  • Risk of damage to or loss of the goods passes to you upon delivery to the address specified in your order. If an item arrives damaged in transit, you must report it to us within 48 hours of receipt.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, button icons, images and software — is the property of Convenient Cash or its content suppliers and is protected by UK and international copyright laws. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute any part of this Site without our express written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

While we try to ensure all information on the Site is accurate and up to date, errors may occur.

  • To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Convenient Cash provides this Site on an “as is” basis and makes no guarantees regarding its accuracy or uninterrupted availability.
  • We will not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising under these terms or in connection with the use of our Site.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service, and any dispute or claim arising out of them, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and the UK courts will have exclusive jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted directly to this page, and your continued use of the Site after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
