Commemorative Royal Mint Silver Proof 50p Coin

An outstanding piece of numismatic history, this official 1981 Falkland Islands Silver Proof 50p coin commemorates the royal wedding of His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer. Struck in solid .925 Sterling Silver by the Royal Mint, this issue was capped at a strict worldwide maximum mintage of only 30,000 pieces. Featuring a frosted proof portrait of the royal couple on the reverse and Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse, it comes housed in a protective acrylic capsule alongside its original certificate of authenticity booklet and vintage Royal Mint presentation box.
